This invention relates to material handling apparatus and more specific to an apparatus for automatically controlling the delivery of light textile fibers, as for example, will receive from a source of supply.
One of the objects of this invention is to provide apparatus  for moving fibrous material wherein the feeding mechanism is controlled by a weighing device which automatically collects the variations of materials delivered to the feed pan as compared to a predetermined set value or norm.
Another object at this invention is to provide automatic weighing means for obtaining a textile manufacturing equipment, uniform average weightings from the feed box to the carding machine.
Still another object of this invention is to provide an automatic weighing device which will eliminate dependence upon constant manual efforts to maintain the fibrous material proper level at a constant in order to assure constant rates of materials for discharge ranking another object of this invention is to provide automatic wing to price for textile fibers sapping means operating. It is a further object at this convention to provide a weighing device for textile fibers automatically controlling the exact number of pounds of fibrous material which is to be delivered from the feed box to the carding machine, thereby eliminating that necessity for sampling several lengths of roving in order to arrive at the correct weight for the proper roving weight.
A further object of this invention is to provide electronic weighing system which automatically compensates on succeeding weighing operations for departures from a predetermined standard.
